OPEN-AIR PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION FROM 15TH JUNE TO 15TH SEPTEMBER 2026

This summer, when you stay in our unusual accommodation at La Gazelle Perchée (15300), we will have the pleasure of introducing you to and sharing with you 28 photographs taken in the surrounding area of our cabins, in the commune of Ségur-les-Villas. These pictures are exhibited in the open air at various locations across the commune, and notably at the Chapelle de Valentine site, which sits on a promontory overlooking our cabins, a 20-minute walk away.

The photographer Alain Benoit à la Guillaume, author of these works and also passionate about the world of bees, is the founder of the City of the Bee, created in 1985 in the heart of the Thiers mountain region. www.lacitedelabeille.fr

Published on 22 August 2025 by The Bee City, is an artistic and literary work of 192 pages and 174 photographs. It

celebrates a century-old beech tree in the Santoire valley, in the Cantal, through texts by Mariette Mercier, a preface by Marie-Hélène Lafon and photographs by Alain Benoit De La Guillaume.

Marie Hèlène Lafon, whom we introduced to you in a previous blog post, is originally from St Saturnin, (15190 Cantal) and a great lover of her homeland, returns there often; indeed, this Sunday, 2 August 2026, she will be leading the Vives Voix workshop alongside violinist Aurélie Chenille.
